ABOUT 

 

Originally from South Yorkshire, Robyn Bennett (she/her) is a Theatre Producer with a particular interest in new writing that has a social conscience. She is currently the Assistant General Manager at Kiln Theatre and a script reader for the 2022 Papatango New Writing Prize.

 

Most recently Robyn was the Assistant Producer at Papatango working on the 2020 & 2021 New Writing Prize productions, alongside this she was the Administrator for Burn Bright, supporting women & NB playwrights to reach parity within the industry. Robyn was formerly at The Old Vic theatre where she undertook roles as Executive Assistant to the Producer and General Manager, and as Production Assistant working across productions including All My Sons, A Very Expensive Poison and Wise Children.

 

Prior to The Old Vic, Robyn was appointed Assistant Producer at National Youth Music Theatre and was previously supported by Stage One, having been awarded their 2016 regional producer placement at Watford Palace Theatre. She has a wealth of experience & knowledge of London's Off-West End & Fringe sectors having first undertaken a residency with Theatre503 as assistant producer, then later as assistant producer to Tara Finney Productions alongside her independent freelance work. Robyn is passionate about dramaturgy and has been a script reader for Papatango, Theatre503, and Flux Theatre.

 

Robyn is an Associate Producer for Small Truth Theatre and Scatterjam
